What we collect, and when

• Contact details you choose to give us. When you request a planning tool or unlock results, we ask for things like your name, email, company, and revenue range. We use them to deliver what you asked for and to follow up about Wayfinder services and new planning tools. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
• Anonymous usage signals. We use PostHog, an analytics service, to understand how visitors use the site: which pages get read, where people stop inside a tool. This runs without cookies. We also use Google Analytics: by default it runs in a cookieless consent mode, and only if you accept the advertising-cookies banner may Google set its own analytics cookies. It does not record the numbers you type into any calculator. On general pages (not the planning tools), we may also review anonymized session replays (what was scrolled and clicked) with anything you type hidden. On the ad landing pages that host a tool, we use two session-replay services (PostHog and Microsoft Clarity), both running without cookies there; each captures only the surrounding page, with the tool itself visually hidden, and both stop entirely the moment you start the tool. On the planning-tool pages themselves, replay is switched off completely.
• Booking details. If you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email, and chosen time under its own privacy policy.
• Advertising measurement, only if you say yes. When we run ads on LinkedIn, we ask before setting LinkedIn’s measurement cookie (the Insight Tag). If you accept, LinkedIn learns that its ad led to a visit and to actions like starting a tool or booking a call, never the numbers you type. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the cookie is never set and everything on this site works exactly the same.

What stays on your device

The financial numbers you enter into our planning tools (revenue, costs, cash balances, quiz answers about your business) are saved only in your own browser so you don’t lose work if you refresh. Dollar amounts you type are never included in our analytics. Where a tool sends context with your contact request (for example, your diagnostic result), that is shown in the tool before you submit.

Who we share data with

Only the services that run this website: Formspree (receives form submissions), PostHog (anonymous analytics), Calendly (bookings), and our email and hosting providers. We do not sell your information. The one advertising exception is above, and it only happens with your explicit OK: LinkedIn ad measurement, which you can decline without losing anything.
