Cash Confidence Planner · 13-week worksheet

A forecast is a set of assumptions. The value is in seeing the tight weeks early enough to act on them.

How it works

The 13-week cash flow worksheet, without the spreadsheet chores.

It works like the cash flow template you may already know, with categories down the side and weeks across the top. The math is built in, recurring rows fill in for you, and tight weeks are flagged in red before they arrive.

Your 13-week cash line

Beginning cash, receipts, payments, and ending balance for every week, with the weeks below your reserve flagged before they arrive.

Pressure points, named

The first week below your reserve, the first negative week, the deepest dip, and the steepest decline, each with a date and a dollar amount.

What it’s sensitive to

Concentrated receipts, uncertain collections, heavy payment weeks, and large one-time payments: the assumptions to validate first.

Navigator Insight

Most cash emergencies were visible eight weeks before they happened. They just weren’t looked at. A rolling 13-week forecast turns them back into decisions you make early, with options still open.

Questions owners ask

What is a 13-week cash flow forecast?

A weekly projection of the cash coming into and leaving a business over roughly one quarter. CFOs use the 13-week horizon because it is long enough to reveal problems early and short enough to stay accurate week by week. Each week shows the beginning bank balance, expected receipts, expected payments, and the projected ending balance, so the weeks that need attention are visible while there is still time to act.

Is the Cash Confidence Planner free?

Yes. The worksheet and all of the weekly math are free to use. Entering your email unlocks the full report, with a balance chart and plain-English analysis, plus an Excel copy of your forecast.

Do I need accounting experience to use it?

No. You enter your bank balance, expected receipts, and expected payments in plain dollars. The planner handles the math and flags the weeks where cash gets tight.

What if my numbers are just estimates?

Start rough. A forecast built from honest estimates still shows the shape of the next quarter, and the habit of updating it weekly is what makes it accurate over time. Tighten the numbers as real weeks replace projected ones.

Do my numbers leave my browser?

The week-by-week amounts you type stay in your browser. If you request the full report, we receive your contact details and a few summary figures — never the line-by-line forecast. Details are in our privacy policy.
